This engaging 4-hour CME course is designed to foster in-depth discussions among MCG clinical departments and community faculty. Participants will engage in specialty-specific and interdisciplinary case reviews, exploring the current state of academic medical and surgical care. This collaborative environment aims to deepen clinical expertise and refine patient care practices. Additionally, educators will receive targeted training to enhance teaching strategies and skills.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Participants will analyze complex clinical cases regarding glioblastomas, melanomas, and pancreatic disease and apply evidence-based approaches to diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
  2. Participants will engage in meaningful conversations regarding oncologic issues across general surgery, pathology, radiology, radiation oncology and neurosurgery to foster collaborative approaches and improve outcomes of patient care.
  3. Participants will leverage MCG clinical departments and community faculty expertise to build stronger healthcare networks across the state of Georgia. Educators will explore teaching resources to enhance their instructional practices.

The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
