Patient engagement has never been more important than it is today. Learners will hear what is most important to patients and families from the eyes of our own colleagues who have received care at our organization. PFCC Conference keynote speakers are experts on patient experience strategies and patient- and family-centered care and will motivate team members to optimize performance outcomes. Rapid Fire presentations will address new initiatives offered by our Wellstar partners, including Health and Wellbeing Programs and new programming to support under-represented populations. PFCC awards will be presented to recognize team members who embody PFCC principles—dignity/respect, participation, information sharing, and collaboration—by highlighting specific examples of excellence. A focal point is to share PFCC strategies and tools to support best practices to achieve meaningful outcomes for patients and families.

1. Identify critical connections between engagement, safety, and quality outcomes.
2. Discuss best practices and evidence-based strategies for patient and workforce engagement and how this impacts patient outcomes.
3. Understand the importance to reliably deliver our best performance to improve the patient experience of care.
4. Define what matters most to patients and their families when receiving care.
5. Understand the four principles of patient- and family-centered care.
