Overview
Conference is designed for gastroenterologists, surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, and other health care professionals who treat GI disorders

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Summarize recent clinical trial data and guideline updates on the medical and surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease and other GI disorders.
  2. Differentiate patient scenarios in which endosurgical techniques, conventional surgery, or medical therapy alone are most appropriate.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of current endoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques used in GI disease management.
  4. Apply evidence-based criteria to determine optimal timing for surgical referral in IBD and other GI conditions.
  5. Integrate multidisciplinary strategies to improve coordination of care and optimize patient outcomes.

will be held at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in the Turtle Point Golf Course Clubhouse, 2nd floor. Various accommodations have been reserved for conference attendees.

Airport Transportation:
To schedule your reservation for transportation, please call 843-768-2790.  Rental cars are also available at the Charleston airport.  Contact your preferred provider directly.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort will confirm your reservation directly to you when your deposit is received. If the type of accommodation you request is unavailable, the most appropriate lodging available will be reserved for you. Your deposit must be received within five (5) days. All rates are subject to 13% tax (subject to change) and villa rates include a 9% daily resort fee. Cancellations must be received fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date for refund of deposit.
