Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe current trends in nuclear verdicts and malpractice claims affecting radiologists in Georgia and South Carolina.
  2. Apply strategies for medical liability risk reduction and asset protection to enhance practice security.
  3. Incorporate recent advances in cardiothoracic and oncologic imaging into daily clinical decision-making.
  4. Recognize and accurately report emergent imaging findings that require urgent communication to the care team.
  5. Demonstrate improved communication and documentation practices that reduce medico-legal risk and strengthen patient safety.
