Annual meeting of the Georgia/SC Radiological Society

1. Identify current medical liability risks affecting radiology practice, including factors contributing to malpractice exposure and nuclear verdicts.
2. Describe strategies for reducing medical liability risk through effective clinical documentation, communication, and risk-management practices.
3. Describe key considerations related to physician asset protection and financial risks associated with medical liability.
4. Describe current and emerging findings and advances in cardiothoracic imaging relevant to contemporary radiology practice.
5. Describe current advances and emerging findings in cancer imaging and their relevance to diagnosis and treatment planning.
6. Apply medical-legal risk-reduction strategies to representative radiology practice scenarios involving documentation, communication, and clinical decision-making.
7. Apply current cardiothoracic and cancer imaging knowledge to representative clinical cases to support appropriate diagnostic evaluation and communication of clinically significant findings.
