Addiction Grand Rounds is a series of presentations by national and regional experts addressing barriers to effective treatment of substance abuse. Topics will include racial and economic disparity, lack of training and brief intervention, and how lack of integrated care has contributed to the current opiate epidemic.

1. Provide training to faculty residents and medical students on how they can identify and treat patients with substance abuse
2. Enable providers to find ways to better integrate care for patients with co-occurring substance abuse and other illnesses.
3. Identify and address the effects of racial and economic disparity on the quality of care
