The Women's Career Development Symposium is designed to engage women academic medicine faculty and other gender minority faculty in networking, skill-based and knowledge-based training, and addressing and overcoming various barriers through plenaries, workshops, and networking activities. The ultimate goal of this symposium is to provide support and promote personal and career success among women and gender minority faculty. Opening Plenary: "Navigating and Overcoming Career Barriers Workshops: "Negotiation: An Important Skill for Career Success," "Time Management: Tips and Pitfalls," "Anti-Racism Workshop: Skills to amplify our BIPOC sisters' voices" Panel: "Woman Chairs Panel “30% and Growing”: A Q&A about work life balance, overcoming barriers to success, best advice they’ve ever received, etc. "

1. Network effectively with other women faculty and build a broader network to facilitate career advancement
2. Increase time management skills to manage work/life balance
3. Develop negotiation skills to strategically advance careers
4. Foster confidence in addressing issues of gender and racial bias in the workplace
5. Increased knowledge of the barriers and facilitators to women's career advancement
