Overview
This four-day CME event will highlight advances in cardiovascular medicine and is designed for practicing Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who care for patients with cardiovascular disease The course will address percutaneous and surgical interventions available for cardiovascular disease. Attendees will gain knowledge of current tertiary heart and cardiovascular care.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify the need for pharmacologic approaches to controlling atrial fibrillation.
  2. Identify indications for percutaneous revascularization of the carotid, mesenteric and renal beds.
  3. Identify indications for medication management of cardiac patients.

Accreditation
The Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
