Overview
The symposium will prepare participants to conduct a neurological examination and determine when to order neurological investigations; recognize common neurological problems; manage common neurological symptoms, including headaches, seizures, and dizziness; utilize new treatment techniques for neurological diseases; recognize and manage movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease; manage neurological emergencies such as strokes and seizures; list strategies to diagnose and manage Parkinson's disease, MS, chronic pain, TIA and movement disorders.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Participants will be able to conduct a neurological examination and determine when to order neurological investigations.
  2. Participants will be able to recognize common neurological problems.
  3. Participants will be able to manage common neurological symptoms, including headaches, seizures, and dizziness.
  4. Participants will be able to utilize new treatment techniques for neurological diseases.
  5. Participants will be able to recognize and manage movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease.
  6. Participants will be able to manage neurological emergencies such as strokes and seizures.
  7. Participants will be able to list strategies to diagnose and manage Parkinson's disease, MS, chronic pain, TIA and movement disorders.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort will confirm your reservation directly to you when your deposit is received. If the type of accommodation you request is unavailable, the most appropriate lodging available will be reserved for you. Your deposit must be received within five (5) days. All rates are subject to 13% tax (subject to change) and villa rates include a 9% daily resort fee. Cancellations must be received fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date for refund of deposit.
